Rowlee Single Vineyard Arneis 2023

Arneis is a tongue-tingling white grape from Piedmont in northern Italy, which thrives in Australia, but is still relatively little known here. This is a fine 92pt example, in which: “…keen acidity is taking a starring role, shaking up the tastebuds and bringing one lively set of fruit flavours to the fore. Lemon, lime, green apple, green pear with flashes of tarragon and garden herbs. 92pts.” (Jeni Port, Winepilot). Shanteh Wale in The Halliday Wine Companion detects: "Almond meal, white pear and frangipani blooms. White lily and pumice stone. Sea-spray salinity with elevated acidity and lemon-pith grit on the crunchy, clean finish. 91pts” “... a delightfully linear palate that's juicy and lively.
