Penny’s Hill is an estate which carries Halliday’s top rating of Five Red Stars and its many top awards include a coveted Bushing King title. It’s perhaps best known for its high-quality, intensely concentrated, rich and chocolatey Shiraz, and their Cracking Black is a stunning example of McLaren Vale at its best. The name comes from the ‘cracking black’ Bay of Biscay soils which contribute to the generosity and richness of the mighty Shiraz wines of the region. This is a winner, in more ways than one!
