Established in 1972, Mountadam High Eden Estate is one of Australia’s oldest cool climate Chardonnay vineyards. Situated on a unique rocky outcrop the estate commands an easterly aspect over Eden Valley. The fruit was picked in the cool of night at optimum maturity. A 95pt treat, another delightful release from winemaker Caitlin Brown. “Refined and elegant, the enticing bouquet shows white flesh peach, crunchy apple, lemon, almond and subtle vanilla notes, leading to a wonderfully weighted palate offering fine texture combined with bright acidity, making it superbly structured and persistent.
