A long, cool vintage for the Adelaide Hills has gifted winemaker Andrew Cockram the perfect fruit. So much so, the Corryton Burge Pinot Gris 2022 has claimed the title of 'Best Pinot Gris/Grigio' at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards, along with a Gold medal and 96pts! Nashi pear, citrus zest, and orange blossom aromas are complemented by vibrant fresh peach and citrus bursting onto the palate. The medium-to-soft acidity integrates well with the generous fruit flavours. A portion of the Pinot Gris was stored in old French barriques for 8 weeks, enhancing the complexity and mouthfeel.
