The fruit for Scarlet Ladybird is sourced from hand-tended blocks in McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, then destemmed, crushed and slowly drained into stainless steel tanks with only the finest quality free run juice being chilled to 5 degrees Celsius. The wine is allowed to complete a natural malo-lactic fermentation if it occurs. This results in a wine with purity of fruit that is unpretentious and eminently satisfying to allow for regular indulgence. Salmon pink, an array of floral aromas, and specifically violets. A veritable summer pudding of fresh macerated berries and spice dominated by strawberry and cherry. Zingy with lip-smacking nectarine and berry fruit flavours.

The lotus is the symbol of purity and beauty... and the Zonte's Footstep team strive to retain these features in their highly awarded 95pt Viognier. Grown in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Their veteran vineyard of Viognier produces fruit with rich varietal flavours while retaining good acidity. Matured in neutral oak to help evolve the signature textural 'oily' character of the variety. Brilliant pale straw colour with slight green hue. Lifted aromas of varietal apricot, ginger, honeysuckle and a gentle waft of jasmine. The palate is layered and abundant with a melange of mouth-filling ripe peach and pear fruit along with classic apricot kernal. Underneath are notes of creamy nougat, blanched almond and spice complexity which provide volume and meander through to a lingering, soft and supple finish that carries a warming embrace of stem ginger.

Trophy, Gold and more Gold! Zonte's call this a "sexy, sassy, somewhat racy Vermentino that exudes so much character it just keeps you coming back for more..." With a tinge of pineapple skin on the nose. A rush of grapefruit, blanched almond and array of citrus on the entry. What follows is refreshing, tart peach and lime curd with a subtle minerality. The finish follows suit with pink grapefruit and stone fruit with a persistent zesty citrus and wet slate finish. Flavoursome and fine, with a crunchy texture and cleansing acidity to boot! Lady Marmalade Vermentino is an exciting, fresh, food-friendly white wine. Making this juicy yet savoury red blend came down to splitting hairs, as the winemakers at Zonte's Footstep tweaked the proportions of the blend in tiny one percent increments until the perfect balance was achieved. Through this meticulous process they discovered the exact point at which the juicy, fragrant Grenache (35%) just tames the savoury chewiness of the Tempranillo (65%). Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels for up to 12 months. An aromatic nose of sweet raspberry and blue fruit with a lifted red floral perfume and whirls of jasmine and lavender. The palate is ripe and savoury with a melange of blueberry, plums and red currants leading the way with plenty of secondary threads following behind in the form of dried cranberry, pomegranate molasses and dark chocolate, along with an earthy, crushed wet gravel note. Deliciously drying Dutch-cocoa tannins. "Smooth and comfortingly delicious, the wine shows dark berry, assorted nut, clove and game notes on the nose. The palate displays gorgeously rounded mouthfeel and rich texture, wonderfully complemented by juicy fruit intensity and spicy nuances... 93pts" (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit).
