"Elegantly styled and delightfully expressed, the wine shows ripe stone fruit, nougat, lemon pith and oatmeal nuances, followed by a finely flowing palate that's gently weighted and creamy. This juicy, vibrant gem comes from Jeff and Vicki Dewar’s spectacular hillside vineyards in WA’s beautiful Ferguson Valley, a sub-region of the rugged Geographe region. "Jeff and Vicky Dewar have followed a fast track in developing Willow Bridge in the Ferguson Valley” says James Halliday. He also rated ther beautiful winery among his ‘Best Wineries of 2014’ and ‘Dark Horse Wineries of 2013’. Look for delicious white peach and minerally grapefruit characters on a gently creamy palate with just a hint of spicy oak. It's a treat with tasty salads... smoked chicken or seared tuna would be divine.

RedHeads aren't shy of creating a stir, all in the name of top winemaking. And Harmonie Chardie really rocks! Since starting off in 2002, Redheads have blazed a trail to become one of Australia’s leading sustainable cellars – masters of small-batch, eco-friendly winemaking. They've won 8 trophies and over 200 Golds for their wines, including two for the debut release of Harmonie Rox. All the grapes come from grower Jack Bursten’s unique Coonawarra vineyard. It was originally planted by the late, great Wayne Stehbans – twice winner of Australia’s most prestigious wine Trophy, the Jimmy Watson. So he knew a thing or two about growing top grapes! And it really shows in the wine. Fermented in part new French oak, it's creamy, spiced and fruity.

Tim Cox is the man behind the impressive Allegiance wine range, but this lovely Chardonnay is from his own family estate in Tumbarumba, where he and his wife Sonia make gorgeous wines from their cool climate vineyard is in the pristine foothills of the Snowy Mountains. As Sam Kim, Wine Orbit notes, this Chardonnay is "Beautifully ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows ripe stone fruit, subtle vanilla, lemon zest and cashew aromas, leading to a splendidly weighted palate offering creamy mouthfeel backed by bright acidity, offering excellent drinking."

Wine Summary

It didn't take much encouragement from Yarra Valley winemaker Dr John Middleton to convince TarraWarra Estate's Marc and Eva Besen to plant their first 6 hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir back in 1983. Their love of Burgundian wines also played a part. Today, a beautiful cellar door and restaurant stand on the property amid 28 hectares of vines, an extensive nature reserve, cattle grazing and a kitchen garden. The Chardonnay was selected from seven separate blocks across the property, and boasts great intensity of stone fruit flavour, a touch of citrus and underlying cashew nut flavours. Creamy texture and subtle use of oak leading to a fresh, lingering finish. A well-deserved 95pt score the result – this is a treat!
