Situated in the northeast of the Peloponnese, Nemea has long been known for its mythical lion and also red wines from the native Agiorgitiko grape. Nemea is one of Greece's most important regions for red wine. Agiorgitiko which thrives on the mineral-rich, red clay soils which help bring out complexity and freshness in a wine. Revel here in the bright red fruits tempered by subtle vanilla spice from ageing in part new French oak barrels - a wine with a great balance of deep fruit, oak and rounded tannins. Pair it with a souvlaki.
